Obituary of Nina J Archiere

Nina Jane (Melvin) Archiere, 73 passed away peacefully on Wednesday August 22.  Known to friends and family as “Butchie,” Nina was born on January 25th, 1945 in Middletown.  She was the daughter of Nina Jane and Francis Melvin.

Nina graduated from Danbury High School and spent most of her career as a machinist for Amphenol Corporation.  She finished her working years among some wonderful friends at Kinetic Instruments.

Nina’s strongest virtue was her faith in Jesus Christ.  A devout Christian all her life, Nina served as the messenger of the Word to her family and friends. She would hold hands and pray with anyone who asked and always wanted you to know how much Jesus loves you.

Nina was preceded in death by her loving husband Cary.  She is survived by her children Carrieann Tomaino (Frank) and Cary Archiere Jr (Lauren); her grandchildren Joseph, Michael, Bethany and Nina Jane; her sisters Linda DeLuca and Eleanor Middleton along with many nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to extend its profound thanks to the staff of Hancock Hall and Nina’s caregiver Phyllis Saparato for their loving care.

Nina’s family will receive relatives and friends at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury on Sunday, August 26, 2018 from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m.
