Obituary of Jean Anna Wade
Jean Anna Fon Wade of Danbury, formerly of Hawthrone, New York, passed away at Danbury Hospital on July 14th.
Jean was born March 25, 1943 to the late Karl and Anna Accompora Fon of Dobbs Ferry, NY.
Jean graduated valedictorian from Ardsley High School. She worked for the Bank of New York in White Plains and retired after 40 years of dedicated employment. She loved to travel, bake, shop, and adored spending time with her family and friends especially while enjoying delicious food.
Jean is survived by her brother Carl (late Toni) Fon of Dobbs Ferry, NY, sister Christine (Donn) Clark of Brookfield, CT, niece Elaina Clark (Lou) Mendes of Brookfield, CT, nephew Richard (Karen) Fon of Shrub Oak, NY, nephew Michael (Kristie) Fon of Dobbs Ferry, NY, niece Nancy (late Stephen) Longworth of Dobbs Ferry, NY.
Jean was loved by and cared for by many wonderful cousins, nieces, nephews and loyal friends. Her compassion, truth and steadfast love of those who were lucky to be a part of her life will be sadly missed but always cherished.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Tarrywile Mansion 70 Southern Blvd, Danbury, CT on Thursday July 26th from 2pm - 6pm. A private burial will be planned for Friday.
