Obituary of Sr. Marilyn Stack, CND
Sister Marylin Stack, CND (Sister Saint Robert of Mary), a Sister of the Congregation of Notre Dame, died peacefully on July 2, at Lourdes Health Care Center in Wilton, CT. She was born in Waterbury, CT and entered the Novitiate of the Congregation de Notre Dame in Bourbonnais, IL. She made her first profession of vows in 1959 in Bourbonnais, and her perpetual vows in August, 1965 in Montreal. She was predeceased by her parents, Robert Stack and Mary Stack Clark and her brother Bob.
For over 50 years she was involved in Catholic education in Rhode Island, New York, Connecticut, Illinois, and South Dakota. In 2011 Sister Marylin went to Lourdes Health Care Center in Wilton, CT. She will be deeply missed by her many friends, relatives and by her CND family. A wake and funeral were held at Villa Notre Dame in Wilton, CT.
