Obituary of James Christian Roberts
Danbury - Mr. James Christian Roberts, age 58, of Danbury, died June 1, 2018 in Patterson, NY.
Mr. Roberts was born May 23, 1960 in Mt. Kisco, New York, son of Marie (Burnham) (Lewis) Roberts of Louisville, KY and the late Neil Goodwin Roberts. He was an auto mechanic and former second generation owner of Hygrade Automotive in Armonk, NY for 30 years. He enjoyed fishing on Long Island Sound, boats, water skiing, snowmobiling, snowboarding, motorcycles, fitness and eating right. He loved people and taking care of his family and lived his life with purpose and joy.
In addition to his Mother Marie, Mr. Roberts is survived by his fiancee Tina Bennett of Danbury, his sons: Matthew James Roberts of Salt Point, NY, Sean Lewis Roberts of Salt Point, NY and Frank Roberts of Salt Point, NY, his daughter: Kara Marie Roberts of Danbury, his brother: John Matthew Roberts of Louisville, KY his grandson: James Raul Roberts and his nephew: William Hubert Neil Roberts.
Mr. Roberts' family will receive family and friends at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury on Saturday June 9, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. A Celebration of His Life will be held at the funeral home on Saturday June 9, 2018 at noon. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Family requests casual dress to be worn.
