Obituary of Jo-Anne Marie Mellilo

Jo-Anne Mellilo, 72, of Danbury, wife of the late Edward Mellilo, died peacefully at Danbury Hospital on Tuesday, April 10^th.  She was born in Danbury on February 11, 1946, daughter of the late Andrew and Carmella (Rao) Barbera. She was waiting to greet her mother, Carmella, who passed two days later on Thursday, April 12^th.  

Jo-Anne was a graduate of Danbury High School and worked as an office manager for 30+ years at the Matrix bldg.  She was a longtime, devoted parishioner of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church of Danbury. 

 

She will be sadly missed by her son, Robert Mellilo of Danbury; and her granddaughter, Vanessa Grant. 

 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for both Jo-Anne and her mother, Carmella, on Saturday, April 21^st at 9:30am.  There are no calling hours.
