Obituary of Oliver J. Olson, Jr
Oliver (Ozzie) J. Olson, Jr., husband of Charlotte (Mitchell) Olson, died peacefully at Western Rehabilitation in Danbury on Wednesday, Feb 28, 2018. He was born in Danbury on September 3, 1936, son of the late Oliver J. and Lillian (Wilcox) Olson.
Mr. Olson served with the United States Army during peacetime. He worked for many years as a grocer for First National and later Stop and Shop. He was an avid fisherman, and devoted fan of NASCAR and the NY Giants.
In addition to his wife, Charlotte, he will be sadly missed by his sons, Jeffrey Olson, Brian Olson and his wife, Alicia; his five grandchildren, Jade, Jordin, Jerica, Brian Jr., and Nicole; his five great grandchildren, Angel, Rylee, Autumn, Natalie, and Juliana. He is also survived by his brother, Michael Olson; Maria Fay; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his son, Robert.
Funeral Services will be held privately.
