Obituary of Leona Semczuk-Goldspinner
Mrs. Leona (Semczuk) Goldspinner, age 91, of Danbury, died Saturday December 9, 2017 at Laurel Ridge Nursing Home in Ridgefield.
Mrs. Goldspinner was born on October 27, 1926, daughter of the late Carl and Elizabeth (Chernak) Semczuk. She was retired after working for many years as a bookkeeper/accountant at General Datacomm in Danbury and Naugatuck. She was a prolific reader and loved classical music. Leona will be remembered for her generosity and her spirit.
Mrs. Goldspinner is survived by her son; Philip Pappajohn and his wife Linda of Newark, Delaware, two brothers; Emil Semczuk of Danbury and Peter Semczuk of Panama City, FL and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services and burial will be held in the spring at Riverside Annex Cemetery in South Paris, Maine. The Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury is in charge of arrangements.
