Obituary of Katherine Marie Miller
Katherine M. Miller, age 82 of Brookfield, died on Wednesday evening at her home. She was the wife of Edward L. Miller.
Katherine was born April 29, 1935 in Sharon, PA, the daughter of the late Paul and Helen (Fait) Faber. She was raised and educated in Bronx, NY, and had been a resident of Brookfield for the past 46 years.
Katherine was a longtime parishioner of Saint Marguerite Bourgeoys Church. She was a devoted and loving wife to her husband Edward of 60 years, as well as a devoted mother and grandmother. She loved and cared for her pets, and was a volunteer with Greyhound Rescue and Rehab for over 17 years.
In addition to her husband Edward, Katherine is survived by her three sons: Michael T. Miller and his wife Jenny of Bridgeport, Steven C. Miller and his wife Trish of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, and Brian E. Miller and his wife Cindy of Coconut Creek, FL, five grandchildren: Ashley, Stephanie, Mariana, and Edward Miller, Dylan Dinho, and one niece. She was predeceased by her sister Dorothy Slagus.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30am on Wednesday July 19th at Saint Marguerite Bourgeoys Church, Brookfield. Burial will be in Saint Peter Cemetery, Danbury.
The family will receive friends at the Brookfield Funeral Home, 786 Federal Road, Brookfield on Tuesday July 18th from 5 thru 8 pm.
