Obituary of Ilene S. Wein

Ilene S. Wein, age 71, a Danbury area resident since 1976 and formerly of Brooklyn, NY, died at Danbury Hospital on Monday September 11th.

Ilene was born in Brooklyn, NY, March 22, 1946 the daughter of the late Harry and Ann (Lovit) Sedler. She was employed as a medical secretary with Danbury Hospital.  Ilene was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother,, a beloved aunt and friend to many.

Ilene is survived by her daughters: Jennifer Wein of Branford and Carey Wein of North Branford, her brother: Alvin Sedler and his wife Minna of Long Island, NY and her sister: Rita Kutner of Brooklyn, NY, two grandchildren: Jaidyn and Kyla, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday September 13th at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury from 10:00am to 11:00am  A graveside committal service will take place at 1:15pm on Wednesday at the Mount Ararat Cemetery, Farmingdale, NY. with Rabbi Alan Block officiating.
