Obituary of Katherine J. Johnson

Katherine J. Johnson August 23, 1955 - October 11, 2004 Katherine J. Johnson, of East Pembroke Road, Danbury, died as the result of an airplane accident, on Monday, October 11th at the age of 49. She was born in Danbury on August 23, 1955, beloved daughter of Robert and Joan (Weyrauch) Johnson. She was a graduate of Danbury High School, Class of 1973. Kathy was a postal employee at the Brookfield Post Office for more than 14 years. She enjoyed membership in the Moose Lodge, the Danbury Ski Club, the Make a Wish Foundation, and the New Fairfield Historical Society. Kathy was an outgoing, fun-loving woman who lived life to the fullest. Through her loving nature and vivacious personality she cultivated many friendships. She will be sadly missed. In addition to her parents, Robert and Joan, of New Fairfield, she is survived by her brother, William Johnson and his wife, Luane of Marietta, GA.; her sister, Amy Davis and her husband, Norman Davis, Jr. of Danbury; her nieces and nephews, Sgt. William Johnson, Jr. USAF, Michael Johnson, and Lauren Johnson; her special companion, Drew Potter, of Danbury. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, and Godchildren. Funeral Information A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 15th at 10:00am at St. Edward the Confessor Church, New Fairfield. Burial in Mountain View Cemetery will follow The Family will receive friends at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Thursday, October 14th between the hours of 4 and 7:00pm.
