Obituary of Alfred Kenneth Hulse

Alfred Kenneth Hulse Sr. August 8, 1936 - March 08, 2014 Alfred K. Hulse, Sr., 77, of Danbury, died at Danbury Hospital on Saturday, March 8th in the loving presence of his family. He was born in Danbury on August 8, 1936, son of the late Earl and Christine (Sailor) Hulse. Mr. Hulse retired from the Ridgefield Public School System where he worked as a custodian for many years. Prior to that he worked as a crane operator for MJ Stavola in Danbury. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He will be sadly missed by his two sons, Alfred Hulse, Jr. and his wife, Maureen of New Milford, and William Hulse of New Fairfield; his two daughters, Sandra Veness and Lisa Hulse, both of Danbury; his eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. He is also survived by his two sisters, Christine Beardsley and Anna Torraca; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three sons, Keith, Christopher and Kenneth Hulse. Funeral Information Funeral Services will be held at the Brookfield Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 12th at 11:30am. Burial will follow in Center Cemetery, New Milford. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday morning between the hours of 10:00 and 11:30am.
