Obituary of Theresa Adams

Theresa (Cipolla) Adams September 04, 1924 - February 27, 2004 Theresa (Cipolla) Adams, 79, of Main St. Danbury, died at her home on Friday, February 27th. She was born in New Fairfield on September 4, 1914, daughter of the late Frank and Tessie (Caperella) Cipolla. She attended Woodcreek School in New Fairfield. Theresa worked as a waitress for Villa Maria Restaurant and later as a cafeteria worker for Kimberly Clark in New Milford. Most importantly she devoted her life to her family. She is survived by three sons, Kenneth J. Athans, Glen A. Athans both of New Milford, Thomas Adams of Torrington; one daughter, Patricia A. Furphy of Georgia; Frank Cipolla of Brookfield, Dan Cipolla of Bridgewater and Bill Cipolla of Sandy Hook; four sisters, Rose Prisciantelli of Harrison, NY, Antoinette "Ginny" Fation of Ansonia, Frances LaPine of Danbury, and Philomena Kravarik of Brookfield; as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral Services will be held at the Brookfield Funeral Home, 786 Federal Road, Brookfield on Tuesday, March 2nd at 10:00am. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, March 1st, between the hours of 3:00 and 6:00pm at the funeral home.
