Arthur J. Hachenberg, 93 of Brookfield and loving husband to Doris Hachenberg died Thursday, May 17th. Arthur was born January 5, 1919 in Bronx, NY.
Arthur relocated to Brookfield in 1958. He worked as a supervisor for over 30 years at Eagle Pencil, formerly Berol Co. Arthur volunteered for many years at Abilities Beyond Disabilities.
In addition to his wife Doris, Arthur will be missed by his children, Art Hachenberg Jr and his wife Mary Beth of Danbury, Gary Hachenberg of Brookfield and Dean Hachenberg of Myrtle Beach, SC; his five grandchildren, Jennifer Madore and her husband Rob, Heather Powers and her husband Darren, Nicole Pullen and her husband Dan, Tara and Aaron Hachenberg as well as his ten great grandchildren, Brittany, Haley and Kiley Madore, Madison and Julia Powers, Sophia Hachenberg, Gavin, Cole and Carter Pullen and Christian O'Hara. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Tuesday, May 29th and St. Marguerite Bourgeoys of Brookfield. Burial will follow in Central Cemetery. Donations Information
The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to Ability Beyond Disability, 4 Berkshire Boulevard, Bethel, CT 06801.
