Amelia (Klokocovsky) Gregus, 95, of Brookfield passed away at Danbury Hospital on Sunday, January 29th after a brief illness. Amelia was born on March 31, 1916 in New York City, NY. She was the daughter of the late Paul and Veronica (Ducic) Klokocovsky.
Amelia was devoted to her Catholic faith and her family.
Amelia will be missed by her son Paul Gregus Jr. and his wife Elaine of Granite Springs, NY and her daughter Alberta Gregus of Brookfield. She will also be missed by her grandchildren and great grandchildren: Paul and his wife Janice and their children, Frank and Samantha of Brookfield; also by Jason and his sister Lorraine of Granite Springs, NY, Dawn and her husband Gregg Rosenbaum and their son Shane of Long Island, NY. Amelia was predeceased by her husband, Paul, her sister Mary Krupa and her granddaughter Lenore Gregus. Funeral Information
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Thursday, February 2nd at St. Joseph Church, 159 Whicsonier Rd., Brookfield. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery, Middle Village, NY.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 PM on Wednesday, February 1st at Brookfield Funeral Home, 786 Federal Rd., Brookfield. Donations Information
