Obituary of Mary Jane Deldin

Mary Jane (Massi) Deldin August 09, 1943 - March 19, 2004 Mary Jane (Massi) Deldin, 60, of Silver Smith Drive, Danbury, beloved wife of Robert C. Deldin, died on Friday, March 19th at Westchester Medical Center. She was born in the Bronx, New York on August 9, 1943, daughter of the late Vincent and Molly (Sabatini) Massi. She graduated from Good Council College which is now known as Pace University. Mary Jane was a homemaker maintaining the family home. She attended St. Marguerite Bourgeoys Church in Brookfield, enjoyed needlepoint, Italian cooking and oil painting. Most importantly she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Besides her husband of 37 years, she is survived by her three sons, Robert J. Deldin and his wife, Angela of Danbury, Jeffrey P. Deldin and his wife, Lisa of Brewster, NY., and Christopher J. Deldin of Danbury; three grandchildren, Zachary, Arianna and Brandon Deldin. She is also survived by three sisters, Marilyn Gagion of Riverdale, NY., Gloria Massi of Atlanta, GA., and Patricia O'Malley, of Riverdale, NY.; as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 24th, 10:00am, at St. Marguerite Bourgeoys, Brookfield. Entombment will follow in Wooster Cemetery. Friends may call at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Tuesday, March 23rd between the hours of 2:00 - 4:00pm and 5:00 - 8:00pm.
