Marie P. (Cerrone) Corrow- died April 26, 2004 at Harborside Glen Hill in Danbury at the age of 82. Mrs. Corrow was the wife of the late Lawrence A. Corrow Sr. and had made her home on Williams St. before her illness. She was born on July 1, 1921 in Yonkers, NY daughter of the late Peter and Maria Penna Cerrone and settled in Danbury as a child.
Mrs. Corrow worked as the bookkeeper for the family plumbing business. Marie was active in the VFW Auxillary and the Vespucci Lodge and devoted herself as a mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She will be sadly missed by her son Lawrence A. Corrow Jr. and his wife Gail of Sherman, CT. her daughter Sandra L. Thomas and her husband James of Brookfield, her daughter Phylliss M. Benincasa of Danbury, grandchildren: Kelly and Ryan Corrow, Tamy Sullivan, Jennifer Thomas and Frances Sprague, and David and Scott Benincasa, her great children Tyler, Brianna, Joshua, and Alexis. She also leaves her devoted siblings: Brother, Richard Cerrone of Spring Hill, Florida and sisters Rita Taylor and her husband, Oscar, of New Fairfield and Angie Emerito of Palm Harbor, Florida and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Enrico Cerrone; and her sister, Gloria LaFontaine. Funeral Information
Friends may at the Cornell Memorial Home 247 white Street, Danbury, on Wednesday from 5:00 - 8:00pm. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Cottage Street in Danbury on April 29, 2004 at 10:00am. Entombment will be in St. Peter's Mausoleum.
