Obituary of Philomena Mary Walsh

Philomena Mary Walsh September 30, 1952 - March 04, 2004 Philomena Mary Walsh, of Willow Springs, New Milford, devoted wife of Seamus M. Walsh, Sr., died on Thursday at New Milford Hospital. She was born in Roscommon, Ireland on September 30, 1952, daughter of the late Cornelius and Caroline Lucey. She was a graduate of Bedford Park Academy, Bronx, NY. Mrs. Walsh worked as a teller for Union Savings Bank, the North Street and New Milford Branches. She was a parishioner of St. Peter Church, Danbury. Besides her husband of 25 years, she is survived by two sons, Seamus M. Walsh, Jr. and Patrick J. Walsh, both of New Milford. Funeral Information Funeral Services will be held from the Cornell Memorial Home, on Monday morning at 9:15 am. to St. Peter Church, Danbury at 10:00am for a Mass of Christian Burial. Cremation and inurnment will be in St. Peter Mausoleum at a later date. The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 7th between the hours of 5 and 8pm at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury.
