Obituary of Edward P. St. John

Edward P. St. John III March 07, 1957 - September 18, 2004 Edward P. St.John III, age 47 of Candle Hill Road, New Fairfield, died on September 18, 2004 at Danbury Hospital surrounded by his family. Eddie was born on March 7, 1957 the son of Ann St. John and the late Edward St.John Jr. He graduated from Danbury High School in 1975. Eddie was self-employed as a General Contractor for the past 25 years. He carried his interest of craftsmanship into his personal life building numerous homes, including one for his sister. He had a great love for both of his cats Percy and CeCe. He loved the beach including the New Jersey Shore. Most of all he was known to everyone as a kind and gentle person who had a great love for his family and friends. He was a wonderful Uncle to his nieces and nephews and was always helpful. Eddie will be sadly missed by his Mother: Ann R. St. John of Stuart, Florida; his loving companion of nine years Deborah Milazzo of New Fairfield. Three Sisters: Pamela St. John and her husband Laurence Doran of Bethlehem, Barbara and her husband Richard Hardisty of Stuart, Florida and Erin and her husband John Duggan of New York, New York. Five Nieces and Nephews: Taylor Hardisty, Alexis Hardisty, Robert Duggan, Declan Duggan, and Jillian Duggan along with numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends. In addition to his father Eddie is preceded in death by his Brother Robert St. John and his grandparents. Funeral Information A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Edward the Confessor Church in New Fairfield on Wednesday at 10:00am with interment following at Mountain View Cemetery in New Fairfield. Friends may call the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, CT on Tuesday from 4:00pm - 8:00pm. Donations Information Memorial Contributions in remembrance of Eddie may be directed to the Blythedale Childrens Hospital, Bradhurst Avenue, Valhalla, NY. 10595, in honor of his niece Jillian Duggan, who is a resident there.
