Obituary of Audrey Russell

Audrey Russell January 04, 1931 - April 10, 2015 Audrey Russell, 84, of Brookfield died peacefully the day she met the love of her life 62 years ago, William Russell, on April 10, 2015, at Regional Hospice and Homecare of Western Connecticut. She was an avid gardener who couldn't wait for springtime to get out in the dirt. She will be remembered for all her cherished recipes - the most famous of all her coffee cake and delicious family dinners. She loved fussing over her grandchildren who meant everything in the world to her and brought her the greatest happiness. Her needlepoint pieces can be found everywhere in her home along with friends and relatives homes. She is survived by her daughter Susan (Bob) Mills, her son W. Jeffrey (Margaret) Russell and grandchildren Cassandra (Cesar) Jimenez, Benjamin Russell, Chelsea Russell, Alexander Gibb and Sarah Gibb. Her sister, Patricia Cotroneo and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Scott Russell. Funeral Information Funeral Services will be held at the Brookfield Funeral Home, 786 Federal Road, Brookfield, on Tuesday, April 14th at 12:00 Noon. Friends will be received on Tuesday the hours of 10:00am and 12:00pm.
