Mildred Rasor, 92, of Brookfield, wife of the late William Rasor, died at Bethel Health Care Center on Tuesday, June 29th. She was born in Mancos, Colorado on December 7, 1917, daughter of the late Soren and Mildred (Rutledge) Jensen.
Mrs. Rasor worked as a manager for Holton Travel on White Street in Danbury from 1972 until her retirement in 2003. She was a member of the Congregational Church of Brookfield where she was active in the Auxiliary Club. She was also a past officer of the Brookfield Woman's Business and Professional Association and the Candlewood Woman's Auxiliary Fire Department, and was a past den mother for Boy Scouts of America.
She will be sadly missed by her grandson, Christopher Rasor of New Milford; her sister, Arlene Stevlingson of Boise, Idaho; and her daughter-in-law, Cheryl Rasor of New Milford.
In addition to her husband, William, she was predeceased by her son, Robert Rasor; and her grandson, Stephen Rasor. Funeral Information
Graveside Services will be held at Central Cemetery on Saturday, July 3rd at 11:30am.
The family will receive friends at the Brookfield Funeral Home, 786 Federal Road, Brookfield, on Friday, July 2nd between the hours of 4:00 and 6:00pm. Donations Information
