Obituary of Stephen X. Prince

Stephen X. Prince September 25, 1918 - November 10, 2003 Stephen X. Prince, 85, of Meadowbrook Road, Brookfield, devoted husband of Paula A. (Sweeney) Prince, died on Monday, November 10th at Harborside Glen Hill. He was born in Stamford on September 25, 1918, son of the late Dominic and Marion (Chemini) Prince. Mr. Prince attended Stamford Schools and made his home in the Brookfield community for thirty-two years. He worked as a salesman for Mohawk Service in Stamford for twenty-five years. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and outdoorsman. He loved music, Opera and Jazz. He loved to read and enjoyed gourmet foods and entertainment. He spent countless hours building much of the furniture that is still in the family home. His woodworking also included decorative fencing around his vegetable garden, as he was an avid gardener. Mr. Prince was a devoted family man. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 49 years, Paula; his daughters, Paula Diane White of Maine, Stephanie Prince and Michele Prince Peterson, both of Brookfield; and ten grandchildren. Four nephews and one niece also survive him. He was predeceased by his brother, Felix Prince, and sister, Florence Fallaci. Funeral Information A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, November 14th at St. Joseph Church in Brookfield. Burial will follow in Central Cemetery, Brookfield. Friends may call at the Brookfield Funeral Home, 786 Federal Road, Brookfield, on Thursday, November 13th between the hours of 5 and 7pm.
