Obituary of Marion DeGrazia Pichiarallo

Marion DeGrazia Pichiarallo July 02, 1935 - January 12, 2004 Marion (DeGrazia) Pichiarallo of Danbury, devoted wife of Joseph E. Pichiarallo, passed away on Monday, January 12th at Danbury Hospital. She was born in Mount Kisco, New York, on July 2 1935, daughter of the late Frank and Mildred (Pelletieri) DeGrazia. She was a graduate of Pleasantville High School, Class of 1953. Mrs. Pichiarallo, affectionately known as "Mia" by her grandchildren, was a homemaker, lovingly maintaining the family home for her husband and children. She enjoyed past membership in the St. Gregory the Great Ladies Guild and most recently the American Vespucci Lodge in Danbury. Most importantly she was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Besides her husband of 47 years, Joseph, she is survived by her son, Steven Pichiarallo and his wife, Gail of Danbury; daughters Donna Pichiarallo and her husband, Mark Curran of Scituate, MA., and Gayle Clark and her husband Dan, of Danbury; her five grandchildren, Emma, Jessie, Christopher, Katie and Gregory. She is also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law Frank and Beverly DeGrazia, Jr. of Tamarac, Fla., Joseph and Janet DeGrazia of Pleasantville, NY and Dennis and Lorna DeGrazia of Coldspring, NY and their families. Funeral Information A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 16th at 11:00am at St. Gregory the Great Church at 85 Great Plain Road in Danbury. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery, Danbury.
