Obituary of Patricia A. Montague

Patricia A. Montague June 21, 1933 - February 06, 2005 Patricia A. Montague, age 71 loving wife of Thomas Montague died on Sunday, February 6, 2005 at home with her family at her side. Mrs. Montague was born on June 21, 1933 daughter of the late Harry and Marion (Mealy) Wright in Wilmington, Deleware. Patricia graduated as a Registered Nurse in 1954 from the St. Francis school of Nursing located in Wilmington, DE . On April 7, 1956 she married Thomas Montague and they spent many loving years raising their family together. In her ealier years Patricia worked for Wesson Maternity Hospital in Springfield, MA, Wilmington General Hospital in Wilmington, DE and Farnhurst Mental Hospital. She then worked for Danbury Hospital for 15 years before retiring in 1995. Since her retirement , Pat has enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, traveling, and spending time at their second home in Surfside Beach, SC. Pat has been a dedicated member of St. Joseph's Church in Brookfield since 1971 and is a member of the Rosary Society at the Church. The family would like thank all of Pat's wonderful friends for all of their prayers and support. Patricia will be sadly missed by her husband Thomas, her ten children: Lynn Alfes and her husband, Jay, Kathy Riley and her husand Fran, Patti Paravati and her husband Joe, Joe Montague and his wife Patti, Michael Montague and his wife Rosemary, Kevin Montague, Brian Montague and his wife Antoinette, Stephen Montague, Mark Montague, and Mary Kate Tannone and her husband Tom. Patricia is also survived by her twenty grandchildren, her sister, Jeanne Markowski of Deleware and brother Robert Wright of North Carolina. She is predeceased by her brother Harry Wright. Funeral Information A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph Church in Brookfield on Wednesday, February 8, 2005 at 10:00AM with interment following at St. Peter Cemetery in Danbury. Patricia's family will receive friends at the Brookfield Funeral Home, 786 Federal Road, Brookfield, CT on Tuesday, February 8, 2005 from the hours of 5:00PM - 8:00PM.
