Joan Mino

Joan L. (Ekert) Mino, 86, of Brookfield, beloved wife of the late Alfred J. Mino, died peacefully at home in the presence of family on Sunday, October 4th. She was born in New York, NY on May 31, 1929, daughter of the late Charles and Dorothy (Toepfer) Ekert.
She will be sadly missed by her sons, Warren K. Mino and his wife, Patricia, with whom she made her home, Drew M. Mino and his wife, Erin of Whitestone, NY, and Robert A. Mino of Fl; her eight grandchildren, Robert A. Mino Jr and his wife Michele, Michele L. Mino, Warren K. Mino, Jr. and his wife Kyle Ann, Drew M. Mino, Jr., April R. Mino, Jessica D. Boone and her husband Johnny, Jacqueline B. Mino, Christopher M. Mino and one great grandson, Warren " Charlie" Mino; as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her sisters, Dorothy Hiessler, Lorraine Cuningham; and her brother, Charles Ekert. Funeral Information
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, October 12th at 9:00 am at St. Joseph Church, Brookfield. Burial in Calverton Cemetery will follow.
The family will receive friends at the Brookfield Funeral Home, 786 Federal Road, Brookfield, on Sunday between the hours of 2:00 - 4:00pm and 6:00 - 8:00pm. Donations Information
