Agnes Believe

Agnes (DePalo) Believe, age 93, of New Fairfield died on August 13, 2004 at Danbury Health Care Center. She was the wife of the late James Believe. She was born in Bronx, NY on May 30, 1911 a daughter of the late Frank and Brighid (Santoro) DePalo. Mrs. Believe was raised in the Bronx and moved to New Fairfield 35 years ago making her home with her son Frank and his wife Jean.
A devoted mother and grandmother, she was a parishioner of St. Edward the Confessor Church, New Fairfield.
Mrs. Believe is survived by a daughter-in-law, Jean Believe of New Fairfield; a sister, Josephine LaRusso of New Rochelle, NY; two grandchildren: Frank A. Believe of New Fairfield and Linda McGee and her husband Jeffrey of Coral Springs, Fl.: 4 great grandchildren: Dina Volack, Kelly Hamilton, Stephanie and Dennis Believe; and 3 great great grandchildren: Alyssa Volack, Savannah McSwain, and Nicholas Volack. The funeral will be conducted on Monday, August 16, 2004 from the Cornell Memorial Home at 10:30 AM to St. Edward the Confessor Church, New Fairfield for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM . Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Bronx, NY. The family will receive friends on Monday at the funeral home from 9:30 to 10:30 AM. Donations Information
