Obituary of Ronald J. Lockwood

Ronald J. Lockwood January 20, 1957 - March 31, 2011 Ronald J. Lockwood, 54, of Watertown, beloved husband of Carole (Hagley) Lockwood, died at Waterbury Hospital on Thursday, March 31st. He was born on January 20, 1957, son of the late Howard C. Jr. and Emilie (Urkiel) Lockwood. Ronald worked as a dental technician for Henry Schein of Wallingford. He was an avid 49er's football fan, loved music, especially the Beetles, and enjoyed playing the keyboard. He was liked by all and always went out of his way for others. Most importantly, he was a loving father who always put his family first. In addition to his wife, Carole, he will be sadly missed by his son, Ryan J. Lockwood of New Milford; his daughter, Kimberly L. Lockwood of New Milford; and his brothers, Howard C. Lockwood III and his wife, Lynn of New Preston, and Robert J. Lockwood and his wife, Regina of Detroit. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening between the hours of 6:30 and 9:00pm. A Celebration of Ronald's Life will be held on Thursday, April 7th at 8:00pm at the Brookfield Funeral Home, 786 Federal Road, Brookfield.
