Obituary of Albert J. Kellenberger

Albert J. Kellenberger May 13, 1921 - February 25, 2005 Albert John Kellenberger, age 83, died on Friday, February 25, 2005, at his Bethel home surrounded by family. He was the loving husband of Gertrude (Singer) Kellenberger. Mr. Kellenberger was born on May 13, 1921 in Bronx, NY, a son of the late Albert and Anna (Kessler) Kellenberger. He served in the Army Air Corp during WWII. Albert was employed as a machinist at the Albert Loeffer Co. in Corona, NY. At age 65 he retired and became active in the Bethel Senior Center- where he especially enjoyed the art classes. Albert shared his love of traveling with his wife and together they traveled the world. He was a parishioner of the Church of St. Mary, Bethel. Besides his wife of 61 years, he is survived by two daughters: Janet Gaulard of Southbury and Barbara Donaghy and her husband, Patrick, of Bethel; six grandchildren: Karen Hurd, Joseph, Thomas & Robert Gaulard and Roger & Lauren Donaghy; 3 great grandchildren: Alec, Anna & Alissa Hurd. Funeral Information A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, February 28, 2005 at 10:00AM at the Church of St. Mary, Bethel. Cremation at Charter Oak Crematory will follow. The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 27, 2005 from 4:00 until 8:00PM at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White St., Danbury, CT.
