Obituary of Lydia Toribio Sanchez
Lydia Sanchez 88 y/o resident of Bethel, CT, passed away at Danbury Hospital on February 22, 2018.
Lydia was born on July 14, 1930 in Solsona, Ilocos Norte, Philippines. She attended the Holy Spirit Academy High school . She worked as a Nurse Aide Assistant during the war. Also worked as a paralegal secretary in Postal Post Office in the Philippines for 30 years. She was a devoted former president of a Block Rosary Movement in the Phil. , and a licensed Reflexologist.
She loves to go to Bethel Municipal Center to attend a memory , yoga and art class. She also love to watch dancing with the stars and read about medical and religious articles.
She was a beloved partner of Abraham So and a devoted mother of Late Abelyth So Mesina, Girlie Ann So and Richard So. She was a grandmother of 6 namely, Maria Antonette Gener , Tonie Abegael Mesina, John Paolo So, James Richmond So, Joyce Meredith So, and Jhamila Marie So.
She is an extraordinary, funny, and sweet woman. She is loved by people that surrounds her.
She will be greatly missed by the children of Al Hedaya Center for her candies and lollipops and definitely by her loving family and friends.
Family and friends will gather at Cornell Memorial Home , White st. Danbury on Saturday for visitation from 6 pm to 7:30 pm and immediately followed by a Funeral Service at 7:30 pm lead by Fr. Cyrus Bartolome.
She will be going home to the Philippines for her burial and final rest.
