Danbury - Rosemarie McKenzie passed away peacefully on February 13, 2018 at the age of 98. She was born in Jamaica Queens, New York to Agnes and Rudolph Schneider. She was the loving wife of Edward McKenzie, adored mother of Betty and Dr. Paul Esposito of Sherman, Robert and Michelle McKenzie of Danbury, Douglass and Carol McKenzie of Sandy Hook, Mary and Gary Nimer of Brookfield, Laurie and Chris White of Arizona and the late James McKenzie. She was also the cherished "Grandy" of 14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Rosemarie loved children, was an avid teller of jokes and enjoyed relaying treasured memories of special times spent with family and friends. She was happiest when her surroundings were filled with her beloved family, flowers and butterflies. We will all miss her dearly. Heaven got a rose.
