Obituary of Michael P. Duncan

Michael P. Duncan 23, of Danbury, died suddenly at Danbury Hospital on Tuesday, March 28th. He was born in Danbury on July 18, 1993, beloved son of Amy Duncan-Morrell. He was a graduate of Danbury High School, Class of 2011. Michael was a kind spirit who will be remembered for his sense of humor, wit, and contagious smile. He was a loving son. Michael is best remembered for his love of movies; his dream job would have been to produce films. He also enjoyed his childhood trips to Maine, the occasional golf outing, and being with friends and family. Left to mourn his passing is his beloved mother, Amy Duncan-Morrell of Danbury, who will truly miss him; stepfather, Doug Morrell of Danbury; siblings Nicole and Corey Morrell of Danbury; he is also survived by his aunt Deborah Smith and her husband, George of Danbury; his uncles, John Duncan and his wife, Penny of New Sharon, ME; Paul Duncan of Danbury; Peter Duncan and his wife, Linda of Bristol; Marc Duncan and his wife, Maria of Woodbury; and many many cousins. He was predeceased by his grandparents John and Elizabeth Duncan; and his aunt, Susan Bradley. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 1st at 10:00am at St. Gregory the Great Church in Danbury. The burial will follow at St. Josephs Cemetery in Bristol. The family will receive friends at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Friday, March 31st between the hours of 4:00 and 7:00pm. In keeping with Michael's kind and generous nature, his gift of organ donation will bless the lives of many.
