Obituary of Mary Bradley Britton
Mary B. (Torraca) Britton, 89, of Danbury, beloved wife of the late Henry Britton, Jr, died peacefully on Saturday, December 17th at Laurel Ridge in Ridgefield. She was born in Danbury on September 10, 1927, daughter of the late James and Hilda (Bradley) Torraca.
Mrs. Britton was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She devoted her life to raising her eleven children who were the center of her life.
She will be sadly missed by her children, Mary Ann Manabat, Sandra, Wayne, Ronald, Steven, Kenneth, Susan Gilroy, Jeffrey and Glenn; her thirteen grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her son Robert and daughter, Kathleen Charles.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, December 22nd at 10:00am at St. Joseph Church, Danbury. Burial will follow in Wooster Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Wednesday between the hours of 2:00 and 4:00pm.
