Obituary of Rose S. Deldin
Rose S. Deldin, age 98 of Sandy Hook died on Sunday April 10th at the Danbury Hospital. She was the wife of the late Charles P. Deldin.
Rose was born November 7, 1917 in Bronx, NY the daughter of the late Carlo and Marie (Eldi)Daglia. She was raised and educated in Bronx, NY and had moved to Danbury in 1969 with her family. Most recently, she had resided in Sandy Hook after returning to CT from Fort Pierce, FL in July 2015.
Rose is survived by her son Robert C. Deldin and his companion Andrea Tarantino of Fort Pierce, FL, five grandchildren: Danielle, Mychal, Robert, Jeffrey and Christopher, and five great grandchildren: Zachary, Arianna, Lindsey, Brandon, and Madeline.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30am on Wednesday April 13th at St. Edward the Confessor Church, New Fairfield. Burial will be in Saint Peter Cemetery, Danbury.
The family will receive friends at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street Danbury on Tuesday April 12th from 4 thru 8 pm.
